It’s a New Day… Time to clean house.

It’s been quite an interesting past few weeks, to say the least. Filled with mostly highs but recently I’ve had to deal with some lows. Not always fun but apparently it’s necessary in this journey of life. It’s how we grow, it’s how we get to the next level.

Unfortunately getting to the next level sometimes means going through painful experiences, which I’m not enjoying at the moment. I know that one day, I’ll look back and wonder why I was holding on so tightly. In the meantime, I’ll appreciate the revelation and accept it. I don’t have a choice anyway.

My pastor and I discussed in great detail, the fact that God will not promote anyone unless they’re willing to settle the difficult situations in their lives. He wants to be able to trust me enough with bigger stuff, only after I’ve dealt with the smaller things. So that’s exactly what I’ll do. I’ll let the pain burn for this moment in time because I know it won’t last for long.

I’ll wish the best and pray for everyone I’ve crossed paths with but make sure I grab a hold of my God given destiny and only take people who truly wish me well on my journey. Life’s too short to be miserable and to be surrounding yourself with people who aren’t genuine.

My wish for you all is that you reflect on your life and evaluate the people you have around you. Are they lifting you up? Are they true friends or family? Can you rely on them when things are good and bad? It’s time to clean house. Ask God to grant you the understanding to discern between people who are sheep vs those who are goats. Get rid of the goats and start nurturing your sheep.

While you do that, meditate and read Matthew 12: 46-50 and I Kings as it pertains to King Solomon.

Wishing you all a blessed and prosperous week.

Mahalo :)
